Founded in 2002, our company name is an acronym originally based on the U.S.
Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Standing
for Health Information Protection and Associated Technologies, the
HIPAAT name reflects our unchanging purpose – to protect health
information – and the adaptable nature of our solutions.
