myConsentMinder (myCM)
myConsentMinder is a web-based application that allows patients to manage their personal health information (PHI) privacy preferences.
Individuals access myCM through a personal health record, patient portal or healthcare provider portal. Then, using straightforward web templates, they create, store and change PHI privacy policies such as:

Allow or restrict disclosure of PHI outside the healthcare organization |

Allow or restrict use of PHI inside the healthcare organization |

Consent to participate in research, etc. |
The patient may set a date range for the policy to be in effect and may also establish the name of a substitute decision-maker.
myCM privacy policies are enforced in any electronic environment that uses a standards-based consent engine such as Privacy eSuite and a clinician-facing policy enforcement application such as our Privacy Manager.
